A favorite of bawdy moms and homebody gays (two thumbs pointing inward), The Hot Toddy could be also referred to as “Mama’s Little Chill Pill.” Chamomile tea with a finger or two of bourbon, this and a bottle glass of white wine is the best way to disguise or explain away a bourgeoning substance abuse problem.

“My laundry list just keeps getting longer, and I just want to relaaaaaaaax!”

Draw that bath, turn up those ocean sounds and tuck in to the Toddy.

My boyfriend and I favor putting a couple shakes of cloves or allspice seeds into the drink. It pairs best with that lovely slice of lemon you see floating.
